Paul joined the firm in 2013. He has worked in public accounting for over 25 years and has over 7 years of experience working for a private international manufacturing company. Paul also brings with him knowledge from working with the Big-Four accounting firms for 11 years and has worked for the US Department of Treasury providing him with exceptional knowledge in managing taxation audits with the US Department of Treasury as well as several state Treasury Departments. Paul’s areas of practice include working with closely held businesses and issues unique to their owners, expatriate and inpatriate taxation matters including foreign earned income, tax credits, residency considerations, tax equalization, withholding matters and multi-state taxation. Paul currently serves on the Ann Arbor – Ypsilanti Chamber of Commerce board and on the board at Action Net. Paul has been a member of Lansing Rotary, Lansing Economic Club and has been the Treasurer for no-profit organizations. Paul and his wife Tamara, spend their leisure time cycling, kayaking and cross-country skiing.
